Shooting guard Tyler Dorsey (26, 196 cm), who was waived from Dallas last month, was on trial with the Lakers.
According to sources, the club`s general manager Rob Pelinka and head coach Darwin Ham were present at the gym and watched the player`s training.
Earlier it was reported that Dorsey, despite interest from Fenerbahce and Olympiacos, intends to stay in the NBA and expects to receive an offer to sign a 10-day contract.
Short-term contracts for 10 days in the NBA will be available from January 5.
Dorsey played for Olympiacos last season and helped the team reach the Euroleague Final Four, averaging 11. 4 points and 1. 7 assists per game.
